Grantee Resources - Training By Request
MRC "Trainings by Request" are available to groups of at least 20 but no more than 100 people at one time. This is a wonderful opportunity to network with other mentoring agencies and programs in your area. The MRC will assist you throughout the process. For Future Events: Expectations of Host and MRC
If you are interested in being a host you will be asked to:
- Provide a free, comfortable site (able to accommodate the size of the group)
- Market the workshop to the local community using materials MRC will provide
- Designate an onsite contact who will coordinate with MRC and the trainer(s)
- Coordinate onsite logistics of the event
- Provide refreshments for the event
- Provide any necessary audio/visual equipment
- Provide MRC with a legible map for distribution with confirmations
MRC will provide:
- Knowledgeable trainer(s) to present a day long workshop on the mentoring topic of your choice
- Assistance in advertizing the workshop via internet and email
- Workshop flyers to distribute to local community
- Pre-event registration services and materials
- A Workshop Protocol Worksheet in order to facilitate an organized and successful event for the training
