Grantee Resources - New Mentoring Staff Orientations

Periodically, the Mentoring Resource Center (MRC) offers a short online workshop designed to get new staff at U.S. Department of Education mentoring programs up-to-speed regarding grant management, best practices for running a program, and the many services available through the MRC. These orientations cover basic information about youth mentoring and are designed for staff who are new to the field.

These sessions are done online using iLinc, a real-time, internet/conference call system, requiring no travel or expense to your program. The sessions are conducted by MRC expert trainer Jerry Sherk and last an hour and a half.
